Workrr guides
FAQ
Common questions about using Workrr.
General
What is Workrr?
Workrr is a freelance marketplace for crypto. Workers offer services, buyers pay in SOL, and payments are protected through escrow.
Do I need crypto to use Workrr?
Yes. All payments happen in SOL on the Solana blockchain. You will need a Solana wallet (like Phantom or Solflare) with SOL in it.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. The website works on mobile browsers though.
For Buyers
How do I pay for an order?
When you place an order, you will be prompted to approve a transaction in your Solana wallet. The SOL goes to escrow until you approve the delivery.
What if I am not happy with the work?
You can request a revision if something needs to change. If you cannot resolve it with the worker, you can open a dispute and an admin will review.
What happens if I do not respond to a delivery?
After 7 days, the order auto-completes and the worker gets paid. Make sure to check your orders and respond to deliveries.
Can I cancel an order?
Once paid, you cannot cancel directly. You would need to work it out with the worker or open a dispute. Before paying, you can message the worker to discuss.
For Workers
How do I get paid?
When a buyer approves your delivery (or the order auto-completes), SOL is sent directly to your connected wallet. There is no withdrawal step.
What is the platform fee?
10% of each order. So if an order is 1 SOL, you receive 0.9 SOL.
How do I get more orders?
A few things help:
- Write a clear, specific service description
- Upload good images showing your work
- Price competitively (not too low, not too high)
- Deliver quality work to get good reviews
- Respond quickly to messages
Can I offer custom services not listed in categories?
Yes. Pick the closest category and describe what you offer in the description. Buyers can search by keywords too.
Payments and Wallets
Which wallets are supported?
Any Solana wallet that works with web apps. Popular ones include Phantom and Solflare.
Where do I get SOL?
You can buy SOL on exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken, then transfer to your wallet. Or use services like MoonPay that let you buy directly into your wallet.
Why is there a transaction fee?
Solana charges a small fee (usually under 0.001 SOL) for every transaction. This is not a Workrr fee, it is how the Solana network works.
Can I use a different cryptocurrency?
Currently only SOL is supported. We may add more options in the future.
Account and Security
Can I change my username?
No, usernames are permanent. Pick one you are happy with when you sign up.
Can I have multiple accounts?
No. One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to game the system will get you banned.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us on Twitter @workrrdotfun. Note that active orders must be completed or resolved first.
Disputes
How long do disputes take?
It depends on the complexity. Simple cases might be resolved in a day or two. More complex ones with lots of evidence can take longer.
Can I appeal a dispute decision?
Dispute decisions are final. Make sure to provide all relevant evidence during the dispute process.
