Workrr guides

Getting Started

Set up your account and get ready to use Workrr.

Creating an Account

You can sign up for Workrr in two ways:

  • Email and password - The classic way. Just enter your email, pick a password, and you are in.
  • Wallet login - Connect your Solana wallet (like Phantom) and sign a message to verify you own it. No password needed.

Either way works. If you sign up with email, you will still need to connect a wallet later when you want to pay for something or receive earnings.

Setting Up Your Profile

After signing up, head to Settings to fill out your profile:

  • Avatar - Upload a profile picture (JPG, PNG, or WebP, max 5MB)
  • Bio - A short description about yourself
  • Tagline - A one-liner that shows up on your profile (like "Full-stack dev specializing in Web3")
  • Skills - Add tags for what you are good at
  • Portfolio links - GitHub, personal site, whatever shows off your work

Connecting Your Wallet

To buy or sell on Workrr, you need a Solana wallet connected. We support:

  • Phantom
  • Solflare
  • Other Solana wallets

To connect:

  1. Go to Settings and click the Wallets tab
  2. Click Connect Wallet
  3. Pick your wallet from the list
  4. Approve the connection in your wallet

Why do I need a wallet?

Your wallet is how payments happen on Workrr. When you buy a service, SOL goes from your wallet to escrow. When you are a worker and complete an order, payment goes directly to your connected wallet.

Think of it like connecting a bank account, except it is your crypto wallet and transactions happen on Solana.

Buyer vs Worker

Everyone on Workrr can be both a buyer and a worker. There is no separate account type.

  • As a buyer - Browse services, place orders, pay in SOL
  • As a worker - Create services, receive orders, get paid

Your dashboard shows both your purchases and any orders you have received as a worker.
